The Café was rated number 18 on the Highest Rated Locally Owned restaurants list. Information for this list was obtained from Yelp.com, and Louisville Business First research. Yelp’s search results are based on an algorithm that is designed to provide the best responses based on a number of different factors including review, ratings and number of reviews. The Café was more than excited to make the list with so many other incredible restaurants.

Our very own Sal Rubino was on WDRB News in the Morning with Keith Kaiser discussing A Taste of The Highlands, Mardi Gras. The event raises money for emergency assistance programs, as well as senior outreach programs in the Highlands area. The Cafe is one of 14 amazing restaurants participating. The Cafe was named in the top 25 places to visit in Louisville by VacationIdea Magazine. They had these wonderful comments to make about The Cafe's vintage atmosphere and cuisine. The Café received a wonderful article from Insider Louisville On September 28th, wishing us a happy 22nd birthday and highlighting a couple things that make us so unique such as our vintage interior and a couple of our signature dishes such as "The Pimita" and our Old Faithful chili.
